Periods of drought were extremely destructive to the Rainbow Warrior tribe. No rain meant that the tribe could not feed themselves as their crops  would perish.In times of drought, the tribe held very elaborate Rain Dance ceremonies to appease the Gods. The gorgeous rain dancers in their burgundy, gold and lime green costumes are a tribute to the importance of the Rain Dancers.
